The Pandemic has created conditions for an increased demand with need for more volunteers to support the additional influx of distressed Callers in need of Listeners.

International funding is limited to non-existent as a result of Trinidad and Tobago's GDP which classifies it as a "High Income" country as compared to other nations.

Volunteers supply 84% of the resources needed to provide the service. Volunteers include the Listeners, Helpers and Friends of Lifeline.

Pre-pandemic, the private sector provided 6% in kind.

Generally our work is the last and least funded, nationally, regionally and internationally.

We capture our final 10% of our funding needs from the generosity of private donors. To help us, see our Donation page.
